My Rememberance Day Poem

They are the ones, we remember on this day,
Theyare the ones, who dedicated their lives to serve.
They served for their country, because they cared,
They are the ones, whose courage stood loud and clear.

They are the ones, whose families cried when they left,
They are the ones, whose families cried with every letter,
They are the ones, whose families cried when they returned,
They are the ones, whose families cried when they didnt.

They are the ones, we celebrate on this day,
They are the ones, who rest hapily in heaven,
They are the ones, who some can still tell their story,
They are the ones, who are the the reason for rememberance day,

They are the ones, we honour on this day,
They are the ones, we stop and take the time for,
They are the ones, who helped defend the country,
They are the brave ones, who we now call veterens.
