My life philosophy

People work too hard.

I don't think people realize that while they're working day and night to have their future, that really they are missing out on their whole life. The distracted father, too busy to take his son to a football game. The bustling mother, working so late she can't be home for supper.. Always, the same excuse- I'm working towards the future. What future? what future will be left when you are 65 and retired? With grown children you don't even know their favourite color?

Yes, the future is highly important.. after all, it will be the life we are living one day. But what about the life we are living now? That is what is important, to me. Because how can you ever have had a life, if when you look back you have nothing to say about it except that you worked hard? Yeah, we'll know you worked hard when you have that giant house you've always wanted, but it's empty.

You don't want to miss out on the life you're living now. It's too vital to miss. If you're too set on this one path leading to this one place you want to be, you won't see the beauty along the way of that path. You won't have time to stop and smell the flowers. Before you know it, you'll have walked, or perhaps ran down that path so fast that you will never have known the fun of going down that path in the first place.

Just dont miss out on life. It's too short.

The thing that's always been said to me... is live life for the NOW... not the future... but the now...

When you're doing something you LOVE and you're passionate about... yes, you're working towards your future... BUT you're also enjoying what you're doing so much that you don't end up wanting to do anything else...

People have this concept that a job is a job... we work to work and make money. If that's the case... STOP.. stop working where you're at because you don't enjoy it.. Instead, find your passion and you won't care if hours go by because you'll love every second of what you're doing.

People who live to work and yet don't enjoy it... are living lies and leading boring lives.

I feel bad because in my case.. at my age, I HAVE to push extra hard to make the contacts and connections or else I won't be able to make what I want happen in the time i'm here... Had I been 15 years younger I could have taken my time more.

Overall... YES it's super important to live for the now... AND also be responsible at the same time.

Look at what I did.. In high school and college I focused on what I liked... computers computers computers... it was my passion. It allowed me to get a good job so I can visit florida, disney world, jamaica, all of asia, paris, las vegas, dubai. Without my passion for computers and being responsible, I would never have had the chance to see these places.

I realize I'm all over the place... lol It's all to basically say: Follow your passion and you won't care if you're missing a current opportunity because you're in love with what you're doing. Live responsibly for the now.... Never go to extremes but keep a middle ground. AND... keep smiling and having fun... Because life's too serious as it is...
